Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way to stardom in 1994 with her album debut Age Ain't Anything But an Numer. The singer was only 15 at that time, and the album was later renamed Gold. The group was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri as well as Timbaland collaborated to produce the second album of hers, One In A Million. This album featured the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah was a well-known R&B singer after the album's release.
